Baptist Financial Services (BFS) is delighted to announce that BFS and Churches of Christ Financial Services (CCFS) have officially merged as of 1 December 2024. This historic union represents a significant milestone in serving the Christian community in Australia.
The merger brings together two organisations with deep roots in Christian financial services. CCFS brings 73 years of experience, while BFS contributes 40 years of dedicated service to Christian communities. Together, the merged organisation now manages combined assets exceeding $675 million, with capital exceeding $55 million, providing even greater stability and the ability to do more for ministry.
This merger is the culmination of a close working relationship that has developed over recent years, including successful collaboration on joint funding for church projects. It represents a genuine expression of Kingdom good will that transcends denominational boundaries, demonstrating what can be achieved when Christian organisations work together in serving God.
The commitment to supporting local churches and ministries remains unchanged. The organisation will continue to provide the same dedicated, personalised service that our clients enjoy, while leveraging increased capabilities to do more. The combined strength allows BFS to better serve both Baptist and Churches of Christ communities, as well as the broader Christian community in Australia.
BFS extends a big thank you to everyone who helped in this process. It is a very significant milestone in what has been a very significant year for both BFS and CCFS. Together, as one team, BFS looks forward to serving both existing and new clients as we help enable churches and Christian ministries to thrive.
